What does an initial visit with you entail?

You and I will meet for the better part of an hour!  During this time, I will get to know you, and your unique story. You and I will chat about your main health concerns, past medical history, other health history and at the end you will have a preliminary treatment plan. Your treatment plan will most likely include lifestyle and dietary suggestions, will typically include some sort of lab test, targeted supplements, and a plan to move forward with.

What does a virtual visit look like?

It looks like a video chat with a friend, but in this case your friend is me. Your connection is 100% secure, meets all of the confidentiality requirements of a medical visit, and I’m giving you sound medical advice, all in the comfort of your own home!

Can my visit be covered by extended benefits?

Most extended benefit plans have coverage for naturopathic doctors, but if you are unsure, you can double check with your provider. After your visit with me, I send you a digital receipt that you can submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement.

How does billing work?

I require a credit card on file to book, which will not be billed until after each appointment (unless you miss or cancel your appointment within the cancellation window - in which case a cancellation fee may be billed). You will be sent a digital receipt upon payment.

What is the cancellation policy?

I have a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you decide to cancel within the 48 hour period leading up to your visit, or miss your visit, then a missed appointment fee may be charged.

Can you recommend supplements?

I have a streamlined way to get any recommended supplements delivered right to your doorstep. After our appointment together you simply follow the link that will arrive in your email, enter your payment information, and the supplements will be shipped to your door!

Can you prescribe pharmaceutical medications?

Yes!  I do have a license to prescribe certain pharmaceutical medications if we decide that they are indicated.

What about lab work? How do I do that virtually?

Absolutely!  I can order all of the standard tests through LifeLabs like I can in an in-person visit. I can also run functional tests through other lab companies, most of which will be shipped directly to your house for completion!
